DA Plug-in Information

Hi guys,

Can anyone point me in the right direction of writing a simple plugin to handle support tickets? At the moment I use a custom skin that wraps DA and provides users access to additional features, however, I'd like to build some of these features directly into DA using the plugin system. Is there documentation on this?

Does anyone know if there's a way to determine the logged in user's domain and username? That documentation says DA variables are not tokenized, so how do we read specific user information?

Tokens work in skin files, however in php I use $_SERVER['USER'] to retrieve the username.
And then DirectAdmin's API for functions such as retieving a users domain list.
