indxweb inc works on a new project, the invoicing manager plugin for DA. I would like your impression, for this work please.

to know if that can be useful for other company. all reseller create a custom invoice for user. user see invoice, paid invoice and invoices history.

This appears to be an announcement of a product, rather than a question about api scripting.

Actually more importantly.
Is integration with paypal automated? (I see a little logo/link there, are users able to send payments and does the system automatically process them?)

What backend it being used? MySQL, flat file, etc.?
 
And another questions... is this tied into any kind of account setup program?

And yet another... is it going to work with any other payment processors (i.e., BluePay, Authorize.Net)?

Hi,

At this time, the plugin just accept paypal. In futur invoicing manager accept BluePay, Authorize.Net, and more.

Invoicing manager dont use mysql, all is saved in local.

the goal of this plugin, is for all reseller to create their invoice, for user and user view invoices due, and paid invoices, print invoices, invoices history.

I like better than all the customers have in directadmin all in one !

Does it save credit card information?

If so, does it save it encrypted or unencrypted?

Note that it's against the terms of every merchant agreement to save unencrypted credit card information on any server.

Some other caveats:

It's against your merchant agreement with Discover, and maybe with MasterCard and Visa as well, to save the "cvvs" code (the three or four digit code from the back of the card) at all; you can use it the first time to validate the card but you're not allowed to save it.

California law requires that if you have any customer data unencrypted on your server and you have reason to believe it's been compromised you are required to notify all the people affected (which is why some recent identity thefts have come to light, since there's no US law requiring notification).

The California law covers you if the customers are in California; it doesn't matter if you are or not.

jlasman, this plugin not save CC number and not save information about users. this plugin is for all reseller panel, to create custom invoices for all own reseller users.

And user into panel view invoices, paid (paypal at this time more in futur), due invoice, history invoices and print invoices.

IM - Invoicing Manager DA Plugin is the best way to create, all in one DA panel for all of your users. :D

Hi,

Your invoicing manager looks interesting BUT you state you give no refunds and you don't have a trial version :(

Also I see this as a catch 22, people can't signup from the hosting site - so you have to set them up as a user in DA before you can add them to the billing system - it seems the wrong way round (IMHO) - are you considering adding a facility so signups from the site could be automated?

I'm watching your product with interest - looks like you've put some hard work in so far :)

Suspend account?

Will there be the ability to suspend an account for non payment automatically?
 
The plugin is still under development and should be ready in less than 1-2 weeks.

A short trial version should also be available too.

Yes, we are currently working on a suspend function and some language packs.

For now, the only supported payment method is Paypal, but we will work on others too as soon as the software is fully operational.

Keep up with suggestions, it is greatly appreciated.

yeah this plugin is so good,

olivier in vacation at present it will be back in 5 days, the trial version will be available soon.

olivier takes the sun before the exit official trial :)

Will you be providing an API of some sort or documentation on creating invoices outside of DirectAdmin automatically in registration forms etc. Or is that outside the scope of the current version.
