Disable Brute Force Monitor Notification

Hi all
On one of our hosting servers i enabled Brute Force Monitor.
Everything seems to work, but i am getting thousands of notifications.
I have read here that i can disable these notifications (starting from DA v1.41)
I am using 1.58.2 and i inserted the line hide_brute_force_notifications=1 in my directadmin.conf, restarted DA but notifications keep coming.
Please advise. I would like to keep this feature active, but i don't need every notification.
