Greetings,

My host provider has recently upgraded my VPS's limit to allow me to use 100GB of space instead of 50GB, but in DirectAdmin (and when logging in as root, df) it is still showing the 50GB limit.

How can I update my VPS to display the new 100GB limit without breaking anything?

With regards, Kevin

You have to partition a part of your hard drive to use the new space, or if you use lvm you need to expand your drive. None of this is directadmin stuff it is basic linux stuff. Check google.

Hello,

What virtualization type are you using? XEN? KVM? OpenVZ? Did you try to reboot your VPS? Note, if you use XEN, KVM, then as you have been already told, you might need to expand your drive.
