I'm a loyal Debian user. I have a DA server running on Debian 6, and now is on Debian 10 and still running very well.

Update: I used netplan and it works for me. On Debian 10 Buster now. Cheers.

The VM didn't even initiate DORA request.

eth0 isn't getting a static DHCP IP address from the router.

It's the eth0 interface that's missing, like gone gone.

my eth0 has the LAN IP address (our server is behind firewall) so I added my WAN IP address using eth0:0 for DirectAdmin to see and bind the WAN IP address. I have 1 LAN IP and 1 WAN IP.

I just updated my MariaDB from 10.4.19 to 10.4.20, and so far, so good.

The ip a command didn't show any IP for eth0. However, it shows my public IP on eth0:0 which is normal.

I tried again, apparently ensxx also not present, it's like all of my network interface card is gone. I've disabled additional IPs. auth eth0:0 allow-hotplug eth0:0 iface eth0:0 inet static address 1.2.3.4 netmask 255.255.255.255 I checked below also same (when it was Debian 9 vs after...

So on Debian 10 instead of eth0 we call it ensxx?
