Recipient in CC receives the email but not the real recipient under the same domain

No, no exim customization, only in exim.strings.conf.custom the list of customized rbls, the rest is all directadmin default

Recipient in CC receives the email but not the real recipient under the same domain

Yes, in /var/log/exim/mainlog I find references to the email address [email protected] only for the user [email protected] and nothing more, as if it had never reached the server. Yet if I see the header of the email received from [email protected] there are the other two...

Recipient in CC receives the email but not the real recipient under the same domain

I have an old lifetime license, can't track emails

No, I use spamassassin and I also checked any filters but nothing

Recipient in CC receives the email but not the real recipient under the same domain

So in reality in the example I put only one CC address but there were two, and the only logical thing for me but I don't know if it is logical for the server, is that only the first address in alphabetical order received it, while the other two, the real recipient, and the second CC address...

Recipient in CC receives the email but not the real recipient under the same domain

That's exactly what I think too, but the difficult part is explaining it to the customer, who tells me, why does my colleague receive it and I don't?

Recipient in CC receives the email but not the real recipient under the same domain

No it only happens from a specific address of an external domain to the server, otherwise there is no problem with any other external domain. The only thing I noticed now is that the sender's mail server is blacklisted on Spamhaus ZEN and UCEPROTECTL2 and UCEPROTECTL3, and this would make...

Recipient in CC receives the email but not the real recipient under the same domain

I would like to report this strange anomaly with an email from a customer. An address external to the server that I will call [email protected] writes to an email address on my server [email protected], and also cc's another user under the same domain, [email protected], but only...

The email address is Invalid because it's Bounce.

Yes, you got it right, they were in a rbl. So my servers using that rbl, when queried didn't respond, and so my addresses were considered non-existent.

The email address is Invalid because it's Bounce.

Thanks for your interest and for reminding me of this, I did a test, from my personal home pc the telnet connection is not accepted and ends up in timeout, while trying from another server it responds correctly with 250 OK, so I assume that on a general level everything is working correctly.

The email address is Invalid because it's Bounce.

Ok guys, I found the problem. Just in a recent forum conversation that Richard also participated in if I remember correctly. I had started using the spam.spamrats.com rbl, also with some success to be honest. Removed this rbl from servers the result is now valid. On another server instead...

The email address is Invalid because it's Bounce.

Yes, Return correct mx record If I try from my pc, it hangs: If I try from another server with directadmin installed: The site is freepik.com If you are referring to this page, https://help.debounce.io/kb/understanding-results/result-codes/ the number for me is 6 I have to admit that...

The email address is Invalid because it's Bounce.

Richard, you were just a bit abrupt :) I admit that I was a bit upset by your reaction, because I have great respect for your activity on the forum, anyway, no problem, apologies accepted ;) Yes, I already knew that service used in the past, but I've always thought it was more useful than...

The email address is Invalid because it's Bounce.

Thanks BillyS, I tried the service at the link you recommended and everything worked fine, it passed all the tests, no warnings and no errors. I then found other services similar to debounce, some even though I didn't know them seem quite well known and authoritative, and some did not report...

The email address is Invalid because it's Bounce.

They don't really say much more, the addresses I tested pass all tests except the bounce one. This is their analysis report: I wonder if anyone else can try testing an email address to see the result, it's about halfway down their homepage. I'm curious if it's just my problem. I can't...
