Hello,

I've installed DirectAdmin on EC2 instance and tried to map the public ip.
The security group (in/out) allows all traffic but:

- openlitespeed is listening only only on the public IP and rejects incoming connections
- I cannot send emails (I can receive messages)

I found a guide which suggest to create and eth alias with the public IP but this doesn't change the situation.

Any ideas?

I used ./setup.sh

And then specified the public IP instead the private one.

Isn't the same?

That's the reason :) "./setup.sh auto" does all the linking and detection automatically, while "./setup.sh" is a manual process. Please link your IP manually in IP management page then.

In that page I can see the public IP.
Should I add the private one?
Because in this case DA is saying that is not possible.

In directadmin.conf I found the "lan_ip" line with the private IP

What's the error you get? Yes, private IP should be added and linked then.
