Hi.

I come from cpanel, so in that point i am really clueless, because in cpanel i didnt have to deal so in detail with it.

I have a subdomain, lets call it https://test.domain.com

I have a .htaccess redirect that users which come to the subdomain via link http://test.domain.com, https://www.test.domain.com, http://www.test.domain.com, https://www.test.domain.com are getting redirected to the version https://test.domain.com

In Directadmin in the section SSL certificates i have a option to get also a SSL certificate for the www version for subdomains. Do i need this, that my subdomain is redirected without any problems? At moment i have only for the subdomain without www beet taken a SSL certificate but for the version with www i get at moment always a certificate error... so would that be the solution and is it normal, that i need to get for every subdomain also for the www version the SSL certificate?

If you look in DNS management are www.sub A records just like www, and mail ect? If yes I mark everything that applies. www.sub, www, ftp, mail, and all.

Yes like in CPanel there is auto SSL which you can mark to set up all-new domains. You don't have that in DA. The user hast opt for what they want.
I have a .htaccess redirect that users which come to the subdomain
So you are not using the built-in functionality? in User > Domain Setup > click domain name option is force redirect.

Hi

thanks for your help @bdacus01
Here a screenshot from my dnsmanagement.

In the section "SSL Certificates" the option " Force SSL with https redirect " i have not enabled, because it do it with a htaccess redirect and had never problems on my cpanel serves...
