Mail doesn't get forward due to failed Razor2 check?

My mail doesn't get forwarded. I've been using this for years and never had problems. So I never had to dive into the mail funciotnality.

I've an error in my maillog:

Jul  8 16:50:06 server spamd[4412]: razor2: razor2 check failed: Connection refused razor2: razor2 had unknown error during get_server_info at /usr/share/perl5/Mail/SpamAssassin/Plugin/Razor2.pm line 186, <GEN61> line 115. at /usr/share/perl5/Mail/SpamAssassin/Plugin/Razor2.pm line 329, <GEN61> line 115.

I've no idea what Razor2 is, and if it's is causing my problem or not. I've seen an older report on https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/spamassassin/+bug/1819977 but that's also hard to understand.

Can anyone give me a hint?

Please check if you have port 2703 TCP outgoing opened in your firewall.

I opened the port and the problem is gone.

Now I hope my mail gets forwarded.
