Cloudflare vs Directadmin DNS Cluster vs CPanel DNS Only

Hi all,

Currently we maintain a CPanel DNS Only cluster across multiple locations for our DA servers synced via 3rd party script.

However, we have noticed a trend of users moving away from this setup to host their DNS directly on Cloudflare due to the need for DDOS mitigation.

Is there still a use case for maintaining a DNS cluster since Cloudflare can do what we do much better and for free anyway?

Hopefully this doesn't seem like a stupid question. Genuinely interested in opinions.

its a hard one.... as personally I can't see how cloudflare can keep offering free dns and free ddos protection....

Just be prepared for a bill one day.

No such thing as Free... Have to see what you are losing or how you are paying. Like Facebook.. its free to.
