ConfigServer shutting down as of 31st of August 2025

Are you sure? What i've read it's not fully there yet. However as long as it's possible to install iptables too it should not be an issue.

Very odd choice imho because you can decide yourself if you do or don't want to use/install CSF with Directadmin (cPanel uses the same by the way). Also your thought about the effectiveness of CSF is really not accurate and sorry, but really makes me laugh seeing your write that you used...

How to prevent hackers to insert html file into /wp-content/ folder

The domein log and access logs should be able to tell you. Either a leak theme or maybe the user or database account hacked.

    E-Mails, DNS via DA - AlmaLinux10

You can always try, if you get ssl connections to work with DS. :)

    E-Mails, DNS via DA - AlmaLinux10

It's always better to use own nameservers, but not everybody has the money to pay for a vps and run DS on it. Although for example with some vps providers it's maybe 5-7 euro/month extra and that is including an ipv4 and ipv6 address.

    Solved "license is expired"

Yep that looks like it, at least I've seen that happening before on the forums. Because connection means no license verification. If you know your license key (which you should unless the datacenter installed it for you) then you should be ablel to at least check the license key is valid for...

    E-Mails, DNS via DA - AlmaLinux10

It's of no use, but best is to keep as is or set it to your own domain name locally, because DA uses this DNS locally to find it's domains. However I would suggest to set a correct FQDN hostname (click) to begin with if you want to mail from this system too. A correct hostname is for example...

    E-Mails, DNS via DA - AlmaLinux10

Well... unfortunately we do not maintain a crystal ball so we have no clue on to what is going on, it's guesswork. To begin with, did Hetzner open port 25 for you? As for new customers on vps systems they have port 25 closed. Probably it was open at some time, because the ip is on some...

    Solved "license is expired"

There are multiple options which are possible with this notice. Depends on which kind of license you have. Most likely not revoked. Is it only "license expired"? Or do you see another notice or additional info when calling the login panel with https://yourdomain.com:2222 or http://1.2.3.4:2222...

    global blocklist domains for e-mail

I don't work with rspamd so I have no clue if you definately want it in rspamd. But if you really don't want mail from domains then I use the /etc/virtual/blacklist_domains file for that, then they are already blocked at Exim before spamcheck is even done if I'm correct. Some form of wildcard...

LetsEncrypt request fails because wrong domain being used in request to LE API

Yep that's what I ment with "either customized", still PTR is not correct then. However in that case maybe nothing to do with LE.

LetsEncrypt request fails because wrong domain being used in request to LE API

I presume you checked that? Then something must be either customized or something went wrong, because Exim is answering with mail.allieduniversalfieldservices.com and normally Exim answers with the hostname. And PTR points to neither because that points to 173-233-75-3.static.as40244.net.

Yep, so that says enough, right? Better wait to see what others do like DA or CP or otherwise Eva2000. ;)

LetsEncrypt request fails because wrong domain being used in request to LE API

Not necessarily. If I remember correctly I've seen this happen in the past too with somebody and we fixed that via pm. He also had a hostname like mail.domain.com and for some reason things got mixed up for LE, don't ask me why. But for this reason I always advise not to use mail for FQDN...

LetsEncrypt request fails because wrong domain being used in request to LE API

Not according to crt.sh where I checked. So to me it seems the certificate is upated, but for some reason not implemented in DA, is that a correct assumption?

LetsEncrypt request fails because wrong domain being used in request to LE API

As far as I can see there is a wildcard certificate active until december. I see it's activate september 9th so yesterday and valid until december 8th. That happened multiple times yesterday, also for normal certs for ftp, www, mail etc. seperately, all succeeded and are valid. I also seen that...

LetsEncrypt request fails because wrong domain being used in request to LE API

Maybe if you provide your domain name, we might be able to find something. No issues as far as I know. Your issue can have a totally different cause, so maybe next time start a new topic instead of upping a 6 year old one. ;)

    Solved DNSSEC & Multi-Server

Yes well... my problem is that I'm getting older and sometimes have activated things from which I think should be enabled by default anyway. When installing a new server or extra server, I compare the directadmin.conf files and then make them the same. And then I have a memory leak after some...

Hahaha sorry, you are correct, I totally misread that. LoL... :ROFLMAO: I adjusted my post accordingly. :)

    DirectAdmin 1.684

Only found a re-occuring typo. On several places (at least 3) it says "buypass ACME", but that should be "bypass" as you're not buying a pass. ;) Oeps... 🫣 my mistake.
