Any chance that DA will one day stop compiling their own Apache, PHP and MySQL?
(as well as TTF, Exim, Dovecot, etc)
I'm quite sick and tired of all that compilation. If I wanted all my stuff recompiled all the time, I would just use Gentoo.
So I am finding a lot of very old guides on how to install FastCGI on DirectAdmin, with Apache 2.x, PHP 5.x CGI, etc.
Can someone who has done this recently point me to a good guide that works on Debian 4.0?
Thanks!
