All depends if you have time to optimise your own server for large amounts of requests........ One client of mine ran a bouncy castle hire business using WP & WoopsCommerce and a retro arcade forum/rom site with WP too, with, like, 500 requests per second... Safe to say, whatever I did to that...

I use PrestaShop for my merch......... If you really want to use WordStress, Woocommerce is your best bet.....

It might be a stupid question What is happening here? Is this just for developers, and/or old devices? I use LE & Cloudflare for DNS and some (personal) sites via their proxy..... Sorry if this has been asked before seeing the announcement was around July last year.

Maybe this is void in practice, but...... One way to check for license abuse is by checking if the used IP is bound to the actual Autonomous System (AS) route (i.e IP blocks) in their client account (uneditable after account creation)...... I know only big hosters have AS numbers, but not sure...

Turns out that as I proxy through Cloudflare, the script that calls itself to check if curl exists fails with a 403! Disabling the proxy route fixes it. Why? I have no clue.... Not only Mod Security can break scripts, but Cloudflare can too... Scary....

What I'm asking is why isn't a PHP compile seeing the binary........... or is an empty --with-curl looking for it in another path? Edit: Curl is compiled ~# php -m | grep curl curl 🤷🏻‍♂️ Unless there's a bug in the script I'm using.

I have 6 licences, 2 owned lifetime then the rest internal lifetime...... I'm using the 2 owned for personal use, the other 4 are dormant as I don't offer VPS/Cloud services anymore, which is what internal licenses are/were intended for - if you offer such services yourself - unless I'm wrong...
