User with domains ABC.com & 123.ABC.com mails comes from mail.123.ABC.com

Richard, actually issue has been solved partly. Mails are now coming from 'top of the list' of the added domains to this user, I think alphabetically sorted. So now these mails are coming from 'mail.company2.com' and I am wondering if I am able to select somewhere what the major domain of a user...

Improve speed by improving http to https redirect

Any way to tell apache to redirect HTTPS (403) to HTTP (80) if needed, and just go to HTTPS without a redirect (from HTTP to HTTPS)? As at our servers this is using too much time (and actually I am not interested in web users who would still 'use' http, and therefor they could 'wait' a bit...

Keep PHP out of my IMAP folder...

Nick, script does not need to guess the path, it knows the path... Also there is no issue with permissions as the user has the permissions. Indeed, I am not talking about other users, that were some concerns from other forum users. Foremost why would a web application in the public_html...

Keep PHP out of my IMAP folder...

I suppose he meant 'different username/account' and one account for website (www.test.com) and one account for mail (mail.test.com)

Keep PHP out of my IMAP folder...

Thanks, yes. The idea about an other user also crossed my mind. But I am not sure how to handle this with the mail domains (DNS) and the necessary downtime to get this going. Same for the 'different partition approach', this sounds even harder. Will investigate again on these 2. In the meantime...

Keep PHP out of my IMAP folder...

Richard, code was just an example to show that it is possible for PHP to enter your email directories from out of your web directory. The code for extracting mail would be different. Open_basedir in basic configuration does not 'solve' this and therefor your mail would be open to the world. We...

Preventing PHP to enter imap directory

actually yes... In percentage? I mean, is this a commonly used option? for our own firm, no other users on the server thanks for explaining. customisation is not the way to go for us... Probably only leaves us with the encryption option. Will dive into that for now... -- But still is strange...

Preventing PHP to enter imap directory

Both thank you for your answer..! Indeed it looked like open_basedir could solve the issue, however in case of Perl or other we would indeed have the same issue... Therefor I would like to extend my request; I would like to make 2 users on the server. one user (user1) hosting the webdomain...

HTaccess IP access for other user (on same server) with Curl problem

Extra remark: If we cURL outside the server, then we do get the Server IP (same as directadmin license) returned in $_SERVER

HTaccess IP access for other user (on same server) with Curl problem

Tried both options: - cURL does not use the default IP from the network interface (IP from the server, also IP of the directadmin license) - cURL with option —dns-ipv4-addr flag: still gives the 'local' IP of the user (BBB.BBB.BBB.BBB) in $_SERVER, not the remote IP (AAA.AAA.AAA.AAA) cURL...
