I have a situation where creating a new user takes 20-40 minutes. It's not a server resource issue but what I've got going on is probably also not very standard.
What's abnormal? I have a user that has 764 domain pointers. And this is likely contributing to the issue.
Here's the feedback...
On thing that has always been a pain in the ass is that clients using cloudflare to access DA via their domains are blocked because the port isn't proxied.
This is a pretty old request, but maybe if we all vote it up it'll impact the end result...
Thanks. For our workflow we need the same system, just FTP replaced by S3 via API. Fortunately, I was able to get the issue resolved with the S3 provider on cost.
Great. Can you tell me if will be compatible (mainly for restore from functions) with preexisting DA backups that already live at the endpoints? Or will I have to run things concurrently until existing backups expire so as to keep in line with my client SLAs?
@BillyS It'd be great if it were only one file. That's just an example of how the carnage can be exponential. Here's the actual damage. Across all systems nearly a petabyte of fragments. Fortunately I'm only being billed for a ~60TB. But in reality I should only be paying for about 10TB of...
I'm in a world of hurt backing up to S3 bucket w/ FTP and I need help.
I have several accounts whose backups are multiple gigs. The problem using FTP and S3 is that FTP sends files in 100M increments. So a 2 gig file is sent as 20 separate files that grow incrementally, especially when...
Long time on this. Are you still using this? BTW - does this bypass/replace the FTP function with AWS S3 compatibility? The FTP has really screwed me due to chunk size with AWS and WASABI. :(
If you are like me, you manage many systems.
I'd love if in the Custom Build update GUI if we could multi-select items to be updated instead of individually updating items or updating all.
If you like this idea, please upvote this one here...
Gah! Nightmare. So many running. Are we able to or is there a method to roll back?
I see this:
https://docs.directadmin.com/custombuild/upgrading-services.html
If so, what version is in the "working" pile?
I have the same issue after the most recent update. All backups stopped working.
Cron is running. Nothing in logs.

All schedules are showing up just fine here.
No errors in messages. Actually nothing in messages since 4/30. :(
Seeing advice...
Thanks, I just edited the files on the name servers. All good. Figured it was maybe a bug that it was updating the domains, but not the pointers. May be something for the boys to look into.
I have about 700 domain pointers attached to a domain. I've edited the .db files in /var/named/ directly using sed.
They all look good, and they also look good and load properly through the DA UI.
However, when I push the changes to the cluster of name servers via below command line, the...
Hello folks at DA. Is there a workaround for this? With modern systems that do versioning, it's just a pain to manage so many different redundant crons. Also, for those using variables to represent the hour of the day, the same is true.
Am I doing something wrong or do the images added to the Skin Manager not make their way to the login/password recovery pages along with color scheme choices?
I figured these would be inserted?
