What is the future for Legacy DirectAdmin License holders?

I have two '$299 Owned License' so I'm asking myself where I cheated and deserve to be put on legacy codebase? I understand, as a company, you can't keep offering these... But then you had to think about that in the first place. Personaly I'm not a fan of companies changing the rules as they...

Keep PHP out of my IMAP folder...

Guys, look at the folder permissions please. Only user and mail group have access (on my server: permissions: 770 / UID/GID: user/mail) . So other users can guess the path, but won't be able to open the folders/files. Further, separating things won't help for this because the user/mail server...

Score of 16 is that passes as well ...

English please, you're just being rude now... And if you got a solution for your problem it would be nice to share so when someone else encounters this problem they might find this thread. EDIT I see you have updated your last answer. I think you need to read your initial post again. You are...

    Dependencies for Debian 12

As far as I can see Debian 12 is not released yet, so I doubt it will be fully supported at the moment.. :)

Bug? php-source exposed when php=off with nginx

Why should it work differently? If you turn php off the webserver just does his task, serve you the file... Why would you upload php files to a host where php is disabled?

    DirectAdmin v1.643 has been released

If I understand it correct, custombuild is now shipped with DA (and with DA updates), so the filemirrors will not be updated anymore (maybe only the software available, but custombuild script and versions.txt will not be offered anymore on the mirrors). So everytime there is a new version for...

    PHPMyAdmin not working on IPv6

I suspect a configuration error is more likely.. Have had ipv6 for ages here and never had a problem. Did you link your ipv6 address to the ipv4 address in DA?

    PHPMyAdmin not working on IPv6

    Seems like a problem on your side. How do you check the way you are connecting to the server? 2a02:1810:1e20:6d00:88bf:2364:ae23:41a7 - - [30/Aug/2022:13:21:01 +0200] "POST /phpMyAdmin/index.php?route=/config/get HTTP/2.0" 200 2021 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:103.0)...

Instructions needed on installing commercial SSL on hostname.

There literally is a heading 'Setting up DA (port 2222) with a commercial SSL certificate' https://docs.directadmin.com/webservices/ssl/service-ssls-and-le.html#setting-up-da-port-2222-with-a-commercial-ssl-certificate Other services 'SSL Certificate Locations', I see no ftp there, but that...

Lack of support for “new” protocols (like TLS v1.2+)

LuxSci SecureLine is only possible if you only support the ciphers they want I think. Not sure, but this is something from a company so you should ask them to be sure...

Lack of support for “new” protocols (like TLS v1.2+)

When I use the 'Recommended Ciphers for HIPAA and TLS v1.2+' list I no longer have support for tls 1.2 for some reason... And setting up smtp mta sts is a five minute job. I doubt DA will start supporting this out of the box..

Lack of support for “new” protocols (like TLS v1.2+)

I'm not sure what you are refering to for the recommended ciphers? I did the test on the site and got an A, just a normal DA box with ssl_configuration on intermediate... For SMTP MTA STS; One google query brought me here, https://www.mailhardener.com/kb/mta-sts I think you should be able to...

Solved Letsencrypt expiration date not in sync with DA date (DA is too late)

And did you check the certificate yourself to confirm LE isn't talking about an older certificate? *Just thinking out loud ;)*

    DirectAdmin v1.63.5 has been released

Okay, so I guess everyone here is following the development of all used server software on a daily basis and skims the commits to hunt down security fixes? When PHP fixes a security bug and the release takes place in the monthly cycle, you still have to wait (and yes there are php releases that...

    DirectAdmin v1.63.5 has been released

You can ruffle my feathers any time, I don't mind. ;) But in my opinion you are making an issue out of something that isn't really an issue. I also trust the devs in their judgement when they consider the impact for reported flaws.

    DirectAdmin v1.63.5 has been released

If you are this paranoid you should go for alpha, I'm sure the fixes are already in there. ;) Do you also ask this at other companies you use software from? When you read release notes (if there are any) and see security related stuff chances are you have no idea how much time they took before...

    DirectAdmin v1.63.5 has been released

I think everyone should calm down... If there really is an urgent matter, they will push an update, like mentioned by @DirectAdmin Sales . If they rule it not urgent enough, the matter is done. This is the same as Microsoft releasing a fix outside patch tuesday (or what day is it again?) or...

DirectAdmin Task Queue Log - Every minute

Thanks, but for future reference, the notice should do as it says, set the config value itself and restart DA or make it clear it expects you to set it. 'Set xfs_on_domains=0 in directadmin.conf' instead of 'Setting xfs_on_domains=0'. The documentation you are pointing to is also out of date...
