build / update exim show error

@davidc In my case it helped to remove /usr/local/bin/iconv as well, in addition to removing the libraries mentioned (/usr/local/include/{libcharset.h,localcharset.h,iconv.h}). Not sure if necessary, but running "sudo ldconfig" would not hurt as well.

exim 4.96, spamblocker 4.5.40 SRS issue (and fixed, I think)

    Hi Richard, I'm sorry, 4.5.20 was a typo, i meant 4.5.40 🤦‍♂️ So I'm using spamblocker's 4.5.40 exim.conf. In this file you'll find: inbound_srs_failure: driver = redirect senders = : domains = +local_domains # detect inbound bounces which look SRS'd but are invalid...

exim 4.96, spamblocker 4.5.40 SRS issue (and fixed, I think)

After updating to spamblocker 4.5.40 exim.conf and exim 4.96, I started noticing SRS errors. Forwarded emails were correctly srs encoded, but sender verification (which some receiving mailservers use) failed with "Invalid SRS recipient address" caused by the inbound_srs_failure router. Therefore...

No zone reload on monthly dnssec re-signing

Hi, In the mean time I'm able to answer my own question ;) Who knows this may help someone else at some point. I found out that the zones where not reloading at all after modifying a zone. This was caused by a missing systemd service named.service. After upgrading ubuntu to 18.04, I noticed...

No zone reload on monthly dnssec re-signing

Hi, I've enabled DNSSEC on a few zones. The signatures on the zones seems to be valid for 35 days and seem to be renewed on the 1st of every month. However, It seems that the zone is not reloaded in Bind (rndc reload), so it will still serve the old (signed) zonefile (which triggered my...

    Selecting default PHP version

Hi, I encountered this same problem (again), and made a solution for this. My settings were like this: php1_release=7.2 php2_release=7.3 php3_release=7.4 Desired state was: Swap php1 and php3, so that php7.4 becomes the default Don't mass-update sites currently running 7.2 (version 1) to...

[BUG] custom exim.conf not retained with eximconf=yes

Thanks for your swift reply! Well, in my case I had a really old exim.conf-version, and would like to implement SRS. I took the latest exim.conf and made my modifications to that one (so it also has all new configurations from the stock version). The build script creates the right srs config...

[BUG] custom exim.conf not retained with eximconf=yes

Hi, According to the documentation I can use /usr/local/directadmin/custombuild/custom/exim/exim.conf to save my custom exim config and set eximconf=yes in options.conf. However, when I run ./build exim_conf, my /etc/exim.conf is being overwritten with the default directadmin version. A closer...
