I tried to find information about the scanning interval in BFM but it seems that it doesn't excists as configuration setting. I am wondering how long BFM sleeps before processing log files again? In CSF you can set the interval for LFD (default 5 seconds). Maybe a good feature request?

I moved from ProFTPD to PureFTPD but I am not able to login via FTP. I followed these tutorials > http://www.directadmin.com/features.php?id=1134 and http://www.directadmin.com/features.php?id=1143 There are also no records at /etc/proftpd.passwd when I manually create FTP accounts.
