Single remote MySQL server for many servers with DirectAdmin

Hello.

I'm going to buy licence for DirectAdmin. I want to have 3 servers with DirectAdmin to use single remote MySQL server.
Is it possible?

It's possible but I wouldn't recommend it. To much chance to run into username conflicts between all of the servers, not to mention the possible load results on the single server hosting a database for several servers.

I had problems with memory managment when there were MySQL, Apache, Exim, etc. on the machine. When only MySQL was on the server without any other services, I could allocate all of the memory to the MySQL.
That's why I would like to use only one huge MySQL server.
