Unable to FTP in after SSL Cert "setup"?

I had requested DA assist in a SSL Cert installation (which doesn't look like it's completed yet, btw... snakeoil?) Although I don't know if it's related, it's the only thing I can think of... I can no longer FTP to that domain. I can login to the admin panel just fine, change the password, then try to ftp, and I get told my password is incorrect.

Am I missing a step? Is it not allowing me FTP access because the SSL Cert isn't fully installed?

I really need some help on this one...
