Apache fails to start

Whenever I try to start Apache, I get the following error:

Starting httpd: Syntax error on line 23 of /usr/local/directadmin/data/users/admin/httpd.conf:
User cannot occur within <VirtualHost> section

Any idea what this means?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
Now I'm getting:

Code: 
Starting httpd: (98)Address already in use: make_sock: could not bind to address [::]:80
no listening sockets available, shutting down
Unable to open logs

Why isn't it using the httpd.conf in etc/httpd/conf?
 
Its unlikely that Ankit will respond to this or even see it. It has been over 2 years. If you have the same problem its best to start a new thread.
