Hi,

First of all, I'm a WHM/cPanel user currently and planning to get a directadmin VPS soon.

Luckily, I'm getting 10 dedicated IPs for the VPS.

Now comes my requirement...I want to setup the domains in such a way that each domain gets its private nameserver and takes up one IP each.

eg -

domain1.tld aaa.aaa.aaa.aaa
ns1.domain1.tld aaa.aaa.aaa.aaa
ns2.domain1.tld aaa.aaa.aaa.aaa

domain2.tld bbb.bbb.bbb.bbb
ns1.domain2.tld bbb.bbb.bbb.bbb
ns2.domain2.tld bbb.bbb.bbb.bbb

and so on...

Also, I may share an IP for 3-4 domains in addition to the above.

Can you kind guys please provide instructions so that I can set them up...(admin,reseller and user levels mentioned so that I dont get lost)

Many thanks in advance.

Once DA is installed you add the IP#s through the DA admin control panel.

If you want resellers you set them up and assign each one the IP number or numbers you want them to be able to control. Otherwise you assign them to admin.

Then from either those resellers or the reseller section of the admin control panel, you set up the domains, assigning each of them its own IP#.

You have to set up the nameservers as virtual nameservers because you don't have two IP#s for each domain.

You should be able to find everything else you need in posts on these forums; look for the word virtual in a recent post by DirectAdmin Support.
