problem with quota

hi i have dedicate with directadmin
i have problem with quote it maen one of my account have overload his disk limit but not suspend and can use much more space
how can i limit user on disk space?

Limits are checked nightly.

If your system has quotas enabled at the kernel level then the user will not be able to go past his quota in realtime; otherwise, as mr.applesauce points out, quotas will be checked nightly and the site suspended.

how can i check the disk auota is enable or not?and is diable how can i enable it?

It's OS Distribution dependent, and so beyond the scope of these forums. When using CentOS or Red Hat it's usually enabled by default. When using VPS servers it's often not enabled by default.

If it's not enabled it may still be supported by your kernel, but it's possible that it's not even compiled into your kernel.
