Diskspace quote show not correct

Hi all,

I create a user hosting about 20GB diskspace.
They use over 1/2 this quote (about 12GB for ftp and website) so I tell them delete some file.

Now, they delete a lot of file so it only 2g6 diskspce.

But 7 days, it still show 12GB in DA homepage of user and show in
Site Summary / Statistics / Logs >>> Total Disk Usage (MB) 12417.1 MB

But I go to File Manager, total is about 2g6. That is right.

Please help me:
1. This host still have 12417.1 MB (about 12gb)? All delete files come to where? cache?
2. This host come to 2g6MB but DirectAdmin show not correct? why and how to refesh it?

Check to see what the base operating system reports as owned by the user:
replacing USERNAME with the user whose files you're trying to find, and replacing filename.txt with the name of the filename in which you want to save the results.

Then look through the results for files not in expected places.

I think I let Jeff confuse about that.

I am make sure to delete more files in public_ftp and public_html so this user only use 2GB. But in DirectAdmin, it still show this user use 12GB.

I just want to know how that error happens and how to resolve it.

Did you wait 24 hours and then check again?

If so, and it still hasn't changed, then there's a cache somewhere that needs to be cleared; search these forums.

Also, make sure your nightly cronjobs are running.

I wait it during a weeks...

So, now I want to backup this user. Delete it and restore it.
I backup each weeks and I check the backup last night,
that is just 2GB at /home/admin/admin_backups/

I think I will backup, delete, restore this user. And see result.
Only this user have this problem, it give me headache

I search "clear cache" but see nothing usefully.
