Putty SSH Problem "Server unexpectedly closed network connection"

Hi there,

I keep getting the above error message when I use putty. I'm trying to ssh to linuxzoo.net for uni from home but I'm getting no joy!

The problem started about 2 weeks ago where I was using putty during the morning with no problems and when I tried to log back in later that day the error message started and I haven't been able to use it since from home. I can log into that site at uni with no problems its just from home.

Can anyone please let me know why this might be happening?

Probably a temporary network issue, if not perhaps they don't want people accessing off-campus for some reason... If not could be a problem on their end aswell....Should get sorted

Try PuTTY's settings; set "Seconds between keepalives" under "Connection" to an value other than 0. Maybe that solves some problems.
