having an issue, with a newly installed server with Directadmin..

i can recieve emails just fine, but when i send an email from my domain it never gets to the other account

You might consider disabling ipv6 in exim. Kindly search the forums and help.directadmin.com for a guide.

i created an email [email protected]; address can send and recieve emails from [email protected] but not send to gmail or anywhere

it seems 25 port is blocked either on your server or by your server provider.
