Hello,

I am trying to compile ScyllaDB and it requires GCC with a higher than 7.3 version.

- My current ubuntu installation uses Gcc 5.4. If I install a newer version (>=7.3) will it trouble DirectAdmin (especially when we want to customize something and we need to compile DA components)?

- Is there any specific procedure for that (that prevents harming DA)?

Thanks

Hello,

Directadmin does not care much which GCC version you have until Apache, PHP, Dovecot, etc compiles fine.
