    user_prefs is getting overwritten

    Hello,

every time we add / remove and e-mail from the spamassassin whitelist / blacklist using DirectAdmin the file /.spamassassin/user_prefs is getting overwritten but the problem is we loose any custom modifications we have made to the file (like adjust spamassassin scoring).

Is their anyway to solve this issue?

    Hello,

Is it a solution for you to add your custom scoring into global settings under /etc/mail/spamassassin/ ?

As far as I know the files are not overwritten with SpamAssassin update, at least I don't recall any custom settings I've ever lost there. And users can not update the files from Directadmin. Anyway it's easy to test, update any of the files and run ./build spamassassin
