redirecting port :2083 to :2222

Issue: wanting to migrate a system from cpanel to DA in the easiest and painless way for the user, one issue is that
- cpanel has administrative interface access on port :2083
- DA instead on port :2222

So, users are used to acess a link as mydomain.com:2083 ... and being the user usually dumb, simply moving it to something different will cause a lot of tickets.

So, I'm here to ask: does exist any way to automatically redirect the user from mydomain.com:2083 to mydomain.com:2222 ?

you can do it with CSF
use "/etc/csf/csf.redirect" file to setup port redirection.

Alternatively, DA could be set to listen on port 2083 if needed: FAQ for DirectAdmin new customers

Do they now? Only in bookmarks I hope.
Because they don't need to remember any portnumber in Cpanel, you can just visit mydomain.com/cpanel and ready.
