Comment on server to server time-out issue

Please give me your input. My company has recently setup (established) a new webserver. This is a second unit. When we try to FTP data through Linux from our first server to the new one, it times out. The data file is pretty big... around 350 megs.

Could this be resolved by increasing the time out settings under the administrative area of DA? Or, could there be a different issue going on? Thanks! Share your thought please.

Try to increase the timeout from administrator settings.

You can also try to split your file into smaller one.

If you file is really big and unsplitable, try the following:

- increase the timeout
- increase the Max File Upload Size

Then use the file manager to upload your file.

The port 21 on your pc is slower than the 80. It's capped by your internet provider. So you have to be patient
