Hey guys, trying to install DA on a machine at my DC. Here's the output, anyone have any suggestions? The error has to do with retrieving a file and something to do with libssl

I'm not sure if 5.4 is supported by DA or not; they don't list it on their requirements page.

However, in general, when you have problems installing DA then you should contact the DirectAdmin support team.

Even if you didn't pay for an installation, they'll help you get it installed.

yesh with FreeBSD they are very lagged, they probably need to collate the packages for it etc.

bah, i'm done with control panels. I've decided i'm going to go the manual route and set everything up myself. I've had nothing but terrible terrible issues with running control panels on bsd (plesk/cpanel/ensim) which all result in instability of the system (in my opinion) and dont allow for a fully customizable setup.

Time to just write some shell scripts and setup all these daemons, whoo!

Hi,
where you have find ensim for BSD?
As i know ensim never support this OS.
Also i have use plesk in freebsd the last 3 years and it is very stable.
And finally directadmin is very stable in 4.10 and 5.3 release.
Christos

What's your question?

The answer to the immediate prior post would have to come from the folk who wrote Ensim.

The answer to which OS distributions DA supports is already on the DA site.
