I'm trying to allow web users to access a particular directory on my website. I've set up the directory under public_htlml and have named it share. I have then added files under the share directory. File and directory permission settings are at 755 which should mean that the contents of the directory are visible and that the files are executable.
When I try to get to the directory by typing in http://mydomain.com/share I cannot see anything in the directory. Instead I get a 403/forbidden error. I can, however, go to http://mydomain.com/share/filename and bring up the file in the directory.
What do I need to do for web users to be able to list the directory?
