Admin Level Restore Strange Problem

Hi Guys,

I have a strange problem...

I have setup a brand new server with Directadmin 1.61.5 + CentOS 7, when I make a ftp backup to my backup server it works without a problem, the files get created on the backup server.

When I want to restore, it only displays "Mar of refused." in the file selection screen.

When I use the same FTP settings on another Directadmin server Same vit display's the files just fine. So the problem is not on the FTP server in my opinion...

Looks like a change / break in the FTP client on the new Directadmin server.



Any idea's?

Never seen that.

Did you try a rebuild.

cd /usr/local/directadmin/custombuild
./build clean
./build set_fastest
./build update
./build all

After doing a rebuild and reboot, the same strange error.

I suspect the ftp client, but how to troubleshoot that....

In addition of that, if you are able to run DA in debug mode.. it 'might' tell something:

then try do FTP Restore again and check the generated logs in Debug mode.

I have started all over again with that server, fresh install. And now the restore works as it should.

The reason why it did not work the first time will always be a mystery....
