Hi all, I can't seem to fix this and since it is a common error I keep hitting unresolved solutions trough Google.

I just installed two fresh DA boxes, everything works fine, and each box has two IP addresses.

Example:

Box 1:
10.0.0.1 <-- server ip
10.0.0.2

Box2:
10.0.0.3 <-- server ip
10.0.0.4

Now I added both the .2 and the .4 addresses to both machines.
Administrative I wish not to put users on the server IP.
In case of an emergency I siply restore the users to an other server.

Since I only have 2 IP's on each box, I wish to share the .2 and the .4 IP BETWEEN resellers. I started doing this on Box 1 and I ended up with the following scheme:

IP Status Reseller User(s) Nameserver Netmask Select
10.0.0.1 server 1 255.255.255.192
10.0.0.2 shared admin 0 255.255.255.192

I did somehow get a user on the server-ip! :-(
( And it seems to be admin, since it is the only user in the "show all users" list.

The strange thing is that on Box 2 (which is still fresh) I have:
IP Status Reseller User(s) Nameserver Netmask Select
10.0.0.3 server 0 255.255.255.192
10.0.0.4 free 255.255.255.192

Seems Admin isn't even a user according to this?
Is there some way to cleanup DA user configurations back to default?
Cause it seems there are some hidden users/resellers under the admin account on Box 1 I wish to get rid of.

Reseller Panel for Admin shows:

Disk Space (MB) 0.1250 unlimited
Bandwidth (GB) 0.0007 unlimited
E-Mails 9 unlimited
Ftp Accounts 8 unlimited
Databases 0 unlimited
Domains 8 unlimited
Users 0

Seems I incidentally created some user information as an admin.
I however can not find any on the server :-(

Any insight how to clean this up and create a situation where I can share a single IP between resellers?

Logged in as admin, click on User level, and delete the user.

Does that help?

Jeff

Thanks for your insight Jeff, in the end I dediced to reinstall DA all over (since there was nothing on their yet.) Weird part was that the server IP stated it had 3 users afterwards.

Now I deleted as much files as possible (googled the DA uninstall topics) and I am currently reinstalling DA, hopefully with a clean user sheet.

Just out of curiousity.

Can I share an IP betwee reseller without this IP being the server-ip?
Seems to me I need to asaign it to a reseller first, but then I can never re-asaign it to a second reseller.

Before adding a user to 1 IP be sure you have 'shared' the IP-address, after that add the users to the shared-IP
