Greetings,

I'm having yet another subdomain problem. My users are creating subdomains of their own.

As an example, I'll say I own this domain called abc.com. I create a user with a subdomain "def". His domain is then,

def.abc.com

He can easily add a

ghi.abc.com himself without me knowing and I do not want that to happen. Monitoring the users by the list users function is not the way I want to do it.

Is it possible in the user level domain administration panel to stop user creating of

*.abc.com domains but allowing them to create
*.def.abc.com domains?

Regards.

You can limit accounts (by packages) to how many domains and separately to how many subdomains, they can create.

Hi,

Thanks for replying.

I do not want to limit them. I had it set on unlimited.

What I meant is that, in the above example, I own the domain "abc.com"

I created this user with a def.abc.com, a user on a subdomain with my hosting. He can create ghi.abc.com himself without me knowing, but in my hosting, they are allowed to only get 1 third level domain but they can create unlimited fourth level domains themselves.

Regards.

If you don't want to setup limits, then you won't have limits.

DA can only set limits for domains and subdomains, but obviously if it can't set up either, then it can't set up third level subdomains either.
