Assigning An IP To A Subdomain (Vhost purposes)

Ive looked through here, ive used the help feature on direct admin. I've also used google, all to no avail. if someone could paste a few quick wasy steps to assigning an ip to a subdomain to use as a vhost on irc i would be extremly greatfull.

As either reseller or admin edit the users settings. There should be a drop down box with a list of available IPs that you can assign to that user.

At this time DirectAdmin has a limitation of 1 IP address per user account and you can not set it on a per subdomain basis unless you create another account using the subdomain as the domain and then assigning that seperate account another IP address.
