assigning users to reseller went terrible wrong

Hi,

a week ago i tried to assign users to a reseller and that went o so terribly wrong.
All my sites went down and later i found out that all my user homes in /home where gone.

ive been scared to death and spend about 12 hours restoring it .. setting te right permissions and all.

Has this happend before to someone else ?

Since generally you don't assign a user to a reseller, but rather create a user under a reseller account, I'm not sure what you mean.

Can you explain further?

well i created a new reseller and later on assigned some (all) users to it.
All i wanted was a reseller able to control all my users.
This unfortunately turned out to a nightmare.

btw i found some posts about moving users to resellers .. and thats what i did.

Now I understand. Did you do it manually, or did you use the third party script that's mentioned in these forums?
