You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem

If its something you paid for then I would get support from them. Their install script will screw your directadmin server up.

It appears they are a long way from being prime time. I'm really looking for a web application firewall but I thought I might try it.

Try here

I found this to be of very good firewall csf!!! it also incorporates itself into directadmin on the admin page for easy configuration.
The setup itself is painless too.

Get Here

Anyone using Atomic ASL?
Horrible docs from these guys! Just doesn't work.
From the Atomic ASL installation wiki (atomicorp.com):
ASL is designed to integrate with the operating system as shipped by the vendor (CentOS, RedHat, and Fedora). Customized environments that deviate from the vendor designed standards, and packaging can use ASL Lite, or consult with our services group for a custom solution.
Atomic ASL is designed to work with standard RPM installs of the hosting stack. DirectAdmin uses a custom hosting stack built from source. By definition, that makes it a custom environment which deviates from vendor designed standards.

Note that their manual installation notes won't work either; as they require the rpm-based hosting stack installation as well.
Dedicated systems will be using the ASL hardened kernel. Depending on the distribution you are running, this can involve changes in the names of core modules on the system involved with SATA, SCSI, and Network card modules.
You probably shouldn't be messing with kernel changes and replacements unless you know you're a good enough admin to deal with kernel challenges and have local access to your server in the event it won't boot after a kernel update.

Atomic's 3.0 is suppose to work with Cpanel and DA. It's still in beta, but I will be testing it soon.
