Recently some backups started failing with the message "Backup Abort (2): A hard link was found under User XXX's path"
After some digging around I found that this is occurring because when the same email is delivered locally to multiple users on the box (with CC or BCC) the email is hard linked.
This breaks the backups because DA will not backup a user if they have hard links to files they do not own.
This also seems like a bad idea because users are left with files they don't own?
Since I don't want to turn off the DA hard link check (for security reasons), could someone please advise how I can prevent local mail delivery from hard-linking? Any other advice on this issue is appreciated also...
