As I wrote in another thread, IMHO it's bad practice to use double-click actions in web apps. I don't use any other web app that has double-click actions on mobile. Having tried this myself now for a while on the road on my iPad and iPhone it gets frustrating rather quickly as you can't open folders or get to the submenu (open, rename, copy/move etc.) reliably without accidentally selecting everything for copy or getting the submenu or opening the folder.
Having to Folders Tree and just the select action on touch would be enough for mobile, keeping double-click active only frustrates the end user.
