Can admin or reseller, impersonat email account in roundcube ?

Hi.

Is it possible for an admin or reseller to impersonate a Roundcube access for any email account?
 
No, by default an admin / reseller can not access the email accounts of users.
The only known way is to reset the password of the account. (As far as I know)

Privacy is not the end of this conversation.

In addition, in Europe there is the figure of data processing, and by legal imperative, the client has a continuous contract in which the scope of data custody is stipulated.

Under these conditions, and in which one is a professional, and not a keystroke, it is clear that the access is for and by the needs of the service, which the client accepted in the contract.

Well you got another thing coming if you think that. Because there is the AVG with data processing, but privacy prevales legally above that. So in fact the client accepts the data processing, but to look in his mail, you need his permission, no matter what the reason is.
They most likely won't start a law suit, but if one should and you don't have the permission, you got another thing coming. ;)
Better ask permission to fix their problem, then you're always safe.
 
That is why the contract conditions clearly and unequivocally state that the client is authorized to access the email if he or she requests support.

This is the framework contract with the client, and if you are distracted, you can be reported for even accessing the server.
