How many of us are in the hosting business?

How many are in the kernel building business?

I've always recommended standard distributor's kernels with standard hardware.

CentOS won't have a problem with standard distributor's kernels on standard hardware.

If you've had to rebuild your own kernels, then yes, this may cause problems for you. I don't think many of us do that.

Please read the entire article and make sure you understand it, before disagreeing with me :).

Especially the post that's written by one of the CentOS developers.
