DirectAdmin template safe_mode with php5.4

Since safe_mode has been removed from since PHP 5.4, what will happen with these settings at DirectAdmin's CMD_PHP_SAFE_MODE page?

Could they break the server's configuration if they are changed?

You should always disable safemode and enable open basedir. If you got this you wont notice any differences. I think, if you do have safemode enabled it will not work anymore because safemode is not in 5.4 anymore!

Why don't you test it?

Never used safemode. Just curious if it would affect system config and/or performance if these options are changed anyway, because DirectAdmin's control panel still uses these options while we have php54 installed.
