Directadmin via port 443 proxy

With https://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=15 I made Directadmin available via https://...:2222. Due to firewall issues I would like have Directadmin available via port 443. Used https://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=84 to do this with https://cp.domain
Created the subdomain under the domain. Generated the certificate with Letsencrypt. Entered the certificate details in /usr/local/directadmin/data/templates/custom/virtual_host2.conf
When visiting https://cp.domain get certificate error. cp.domain uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is only valid for the hostname Directadmin is running on.

How to solve this certificate issue?

Update /usr/local/directadmin/conf/ca.san_config to include your subdomain and re-create let's encrypt cert.
