Does anyone has a automated backup working?

Does anyone has a automated backup of the user files (in reseller level so that the user space wont be affected) working?

like every 2 days, a automated backup will be runned and it will be send to a remote ftp location.

And maybe after every 15 days, the old backup files get deleted so that the space wont be eaten up.

i was searching in the forums and dont seems to find the answer

I have automated backups that run every night from the reseller level panel for my users. I have 7 jobs setup, one for each day of the week so that it creates the files in a directory based on the day so that I can keep 7 days worth of backups. that cron job in reseller is a 1 time cron scheduled backup right?

or its a every week cron backup?

There are actually 7 cron jobs, one for each day of the week. You set them up to run weekly on a specific day.

Newer backups will automatically overwrite any older ones.

Hello, I have done it with 8 crons one for each weekday, one for a weekly and one for a monthly backup. It works like a charm.
