Hi,

about 3 hrs ago my DA server rebooted.

My dedi provider claims he had no hand in it and I am sure I didn't :).

Does DA automatically restart the server? I can't find anything in the logs except for

/var/log/directadmin/system.log:
Code:
2006:10:11-08:22:18: signal TERM received. Waiting for children to exit
2006:10:11-08:22:18: Clean shutdown successful

and /var/log/messages:
Code:
Oct 11 12:30:53 server1 syslogd 1.4.1#17: restart.

I also noticed that every day my server restarted at 6:25 (by a couple of minutes). This beheavior started the 7 or 8th of Oct. I checked the uptime stat on Oct. 6th being 3days 1xhrs xxmins.

Any ideas?

I dont think DA will reboot a server it will restart certain applications that it monitors such as Apache, MySQL etc. But a reebott of the server I don't think it does.

If it is happening at the same time log in and watch what is going on right before it happens.

Do you mean reboot your server? DA will NOT reboot your server.

That's what I thought but I strange that this happens every day at aprox. the same time.

Another thing is that I can't find anything in any of the logs about this, apart from the TERM singal being received.

Thx for the suggestion, I will try to login at 6u20 tomorrow morning. (too early for me ;))
