Email ONLY Server

Hi,

We currently use DA for hosting a number of sites. I would like to separate off the hosting of the sites to a new server that does not use DA.

Can I still use DA just as a dedicated email server?
Other options would be to stop using DA and move to something like gmail. But DA has worked very well up-to now, and keeping it to host email would be great If i can

Yes you can. You would have to create a skin with links to the email stuff only. You can stop the services that you dont want from the directadmin admin section. Once you stop them they will not restart. There are also ways to prevent users from accessing different commands with /usr/local/directadmin/scripts/custom/all_pre.sh
