Existing uppercase usernames no longer appearing in DirectAdmin

Hi,

We recently updated to version 1.38.3 and noticed that in 1.38.2 there was a 'fix' to prevent uppercase usernames although existing users that already had uppercase usernames would still function ok. This does not seem to be the case and we are seeing client websites where their DA usernames are uppercase are not currently working

Whilst we can see the accounts via SSH we cannot see them in the DirectAdmin Control panel.

What do we need to do? Had we known it would affect existing users we would have rectified before updating the latest version.

Hello,

The only place the upper-case check is done is at User creation time. Nowhere else is a check done on the Username... which is why existing Users should be unaffected.

Can you clarify where you're looking such that they're not showing up?

If you're looking at:
Reseller Level -> List Users

and accounts are missing, then use this guide to rebuild your users.list file. This shouldn't be related to the upper-case change.

If you're looking somewhere else, expecting to see the usernames, but are not, please specify where in DA you're looking.
