Failed Backups/ curl over ssl

Hi DA Community,

Im seeking a bit of help:
My backups are failing after a curl custombuild upgrade:

/usr/local/bin/curl returned error code 35
curl: (35) error:14094410:SSL routines:ssl3_read_bytes:sslv3 alert handshake failure

Is it possible to force curl to use a tls/ ssl version ?

Problem solved, for anybody with similar problems;
This was caused by an outdated version of proftpd.
