So I installed Ventrilo on my server and I messed up when extracting the files, I think I may have made 2 sets, so I deleted one set after I wanted to no longer have it... but vent still works.

[root@ks305620 ~]# rm -r ventsrv
rm: descend into directory `ventsrv'? yes
rm: remove regular file `ventsrv/LICENSE'? yes
rm: remove regular file `ventsrv/ventrilo_srv'? yes
rm: remove regular file `ventsrv/ventrilo_srv.htm'? yes
rm: remove regular file `ventsrv/ventrilo_srv.ini'? yes
rm: remove regular file `ventsrv/ventrilo_status'? yes
rm: remove directory `ventsrv'? yes
proof I deleted the files,

here you can still see it is online.

Can anyone help me find these last files so I can remove them.

Just because you delete the files doesnt mean it kills the background process.

Type:

killall ventrilo_srv

or

ps xua | grep -v grep | grep -i vent | awk '{print $2}' | xargs kill
